If there was a 10 star rating system, I would rate this book a perfect 10!Just when I thought Altonya's Ramsey Series could not get any better; The Book of Scandal makes its debut and blows me out of the water! This book is a fabulous and outstanding read. A Lover's Worth - Book V, was my first Altonya's Ramsey book, and I have been addicted ever since. I searched high and low to get every book in this series...regardless of the cost, and it has been well worth the journey, and then some!
Book of Scandal will answer almost every question you may have and will leave you salivating for more. WOW!! Her characters are built with such beauty, sex appeal, intelligence, strength and magnetism that transcends through every generation of the Ramsey's. Beginning with the Matriarch Marcella Ramsey, who brings class and an abundance of love to this story with a vengeance and shows kindness to all regardless of their status in society, and Patriarch Quentin Ramsey, whose goodness and passion rubs off and flows bountifully out of the hearts and souls of his oldest and youngest sons Westin and Damon Ramsey, all the while revealing the perversion, deceit, jealousy and hatred housed in his second and third sons, who defines evil with the mention of their names Marcus and Houston Ramsey! All I can say is that I love AlTonya Washington. This lady has an amazing gift, and I look forward to reading each and every book in this series. I just started reading about the Ramsey's this summer, and it has truly been an emotional roller coaster of a ride throughout the lives of this very "interesting" family! The Book of Scandal was right on time, because I had so many questions about why the older Ramsey's acted the way they did towards each other, etc. You will not be disappointed with any book in this series. Thank you AlTonya for taking us on this journey with you!
I absolutely loved this book. It answered a lot of questions for me but it also left me with even more as Altonya's books always does. Now I know why some of the Ramseys are the way that they are. I was a great book and very well written. You can read this book first or last, but you need to read the previous 7 Ramsey books to get the full understanding of this family. Ramsey series lovers know what I'm talking about. Great book!!! Get It,
This book was sooo good. I could not put it down. Great pre-quel to set the stage for the Ramsey family saga. Definitely answers a lot of questions. This series of books deserves to be on television. It had everything...drama, action, intimacy, intrigue, shock, awe and everything. I loved every page of it. I have told co-workers and family members about the series, it is just that good. Recommended for those looking for a good book or two or three to get into.
This was such a awesome book. The elder Ramsey's stories had me on the edge of my seat. Ms. A Washington was able pull you in with the characters and kept your attention. There where thing that happen in prior stories that she had to cover from the beginning and she nailed it. Great read! Wow!
Provides great background history for this suspenseful romance novel. It helps you understand how and why the family is the way it is. A must read for anyone who's read the Ramsey's series by this author.
A very good read ... The Ramsey Elders is one of the best in the Ramsey series, it set the stage for what was how it began and what's to cone. Would love to see the Ramsey story as a movie. Love it love it love it
If you are an Altonya Washington Ramsey's reader then this book is just want we have been waiting on. If you follow the Ramsey's this book takes us back to when the sibling was young. Each Ramsey book leave you with question and this book is no different but it is so good. We learn a more about Westin & Brie, Marcus & Josephine, Houston & Daphne (you all are going to be so surprise about Daphne background), Damon & Catrina. Now those sisters Georgia & Carmen you will learn of there heartache as well.
There is so much that can be said but then I would be giving away the book so you will just have to read and hit Altonya with your questions because if you are like me once I was done reading I email Altonya.................
Fun book and fun read, you are going to love I can't wait for the next installment.
