Not sure why a book published in 2014 is talking about ITIL v2 and not v3 (from 2011)? That in and of itself warned me away from purchasing this book and following the writer(s)' advice.
This is a must read for all CIO and operations Management
Sincere efforts were made with clear concepts for IT professionals to understand the practicality in managing the process for IT services. I like the Technology-independent approach of the writers; all the books that I have come across until now are more technology dependent. Process engineering concepts and the simplistic approach of the writers has made me come to the conclusion that this book is like a Bible for all IT professionals. Hope the writers continue this simple approach for the complex and changing world of IT service management in future volumes.
